5. Managed WordPress Hosting — Service Commitments, Guarantee Conditions & Limitations
This section is published in English. The English version is the governing version; any translation is provided for convenience only.
This section applies to every NamePo Managed WordPress Hosting plan. It explains exactly what our managed service includes, the conditions attached to our Grade A performance guarantee, and the limits of our responsibility. Where a website page, advertisement, video, social media post, sales conversation, or other marketing material describes the Managed WordPress service more broadly or more briefly, this section governs.
5.1 What "Managed" Includes
- Server-level management of the hosting environment, including the web server, PHP, database service, caching layer, firewall, and security tooling.
- Scheduled manual security reviews of your hosting account (cPanel) and WordPress installation by a NamePo technician: four reviews in each calendar month — three standard scans and one deep audit — spread across the month, in addition to automated real-time protection. Where a review identifies malware or a reasonable improvement within the scope of this section, we fix it or notify you with a recommended action.
- On-demand reviews: you may ask for an additional manual review at any time through the client portal, email, or WhatsApp (for example after a plugin change, a suspicious alert, or before a launch). We aim to start an on-demand review within 2 business days, and immediately where an active incident is suspected. On-demand reviews are included for reasonable use; if requests become excessive for a single site, we will discuss a suitable plan with you first.
- Removal of confirmed malware from your hosted account at no extra charge, as described in section 5.7.
- Priority human support for hosting-related matters such as website downtime, backup restoration, SSL, DNS, email delivery on our servers, and performance issues, through the client portal, email, and WhatsApp.
- The Grade A performance optimisation described in section 5.3.
5.2 What "Managed" Does Not Include
- Custom development, website design, content writing, theme or plugin customisation, new features, or fixing bugs in custom code, themes, or plugins you or your developers supplied.
- Purchasing, licensing, or renewing premium themes, premium plugins, or third-party services.
- Guaranteed search rankings, traffic, conversions, or sales. A performance score is a technical measurement, not a business outcome.
- Support for services, servers, or websites not hosted on the NamePo Managed WordPress plan in question.
- Any development task we agree to perform outside this scope is a separate service and may be quoted separately.
5.3 Grade A Performance Guarantee — Conditions
- Scope — homepage only: the guarantee applies to the homepage (the root URL) of one primary WordPress website per Managed WordPress plan. It does not apply to every page, post, product, category, checkout, account, search, or other URL on the site. We apply the same optimisations site-wide on a best-effort basis.
- What "Grade A" means: a GTmetrix Grade A result and a Google PageSpeed Insights Performance score of 90 or higher, measured on the desktop test profile, as lab (synthetic) tests. Mobile scores and real-user field data (Core Web Vitals) are improved on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed.
- How it is measured: NamePo runs the tests on the cached, publicly accessible homepage, with the test location and settings we choose, and records the result when optimisation is complete. Scores naturally vary between runs; a single low run is not a failure. We use the better of three consecutive runs.
- Timing: optimisation is completed within 10 business days after your site is migrated to, or live on, NamePo and you have given us the access and authorisation described in section 5.4.
- What is excluded: results affected by third-party scripts and embeds (for example ads, analytics, tag managers, chat widgets, social feeds, video and map embeds, marketing pixels, fonts or assets served from third-party servers); content or design changes made after we completed optimisation; functionality you ask us to keep that cannot be optimised without breaking it; features you ask us not to change; outages or slowdowns of third-party services; and changes to the scoring methods of Google or GTmetrix.
- Re-optimisation: if your homepage score later drops below Grade A for reasons within our control, tell us and we will re-optimise at no charge. If the drop results from changes made by you or your developers, we may re-optimise once per calendar quarter at no charge; further requests may be quoted separately.
- Remedy: if we cannot achieve the guaranteed result within 30 days of your written request, and the cause is not an excluded item, you may cancel the Managed WordPress plan and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the fees you prepaid for that plan. This is your sole remedy for the performance guarantee, without prejudice to any statutory rights that cannot be excluded (section 5.11).
5.5 Changes, Rollback, and Claims About Optimisation Work
- If you believe a change made by NamePo caused a problem, report it with details within 14 days of our completion notice. Our responsibility is to investigate and, where our change caused the problem, to fix it or restore the site from the backup taken before the change, at no charge.
- After 14 days without a report, the optimisation is treated as accepted. We will still help in good faith, but we are not responsible for problems that appear later, or for problems caused by changes, updates, code, plugins, or themes introduced by you, your developers, agencies, or other third parties after our work.
- NamePo is not a party to any agreement or dispute between you and your developers, designers, or agencies, and does not accept claims on their behalf. If your developer needs to change settings we applied, they should coordinate with our support team so the guarantee and security protections are not unintentionally removed.
- Development environments, staging copies, and code or files outside your hosted account are your responsibility.
5.6 Backups and Restoration
- Daily off-site backups are kept for the retention period shown for your plan (30 days unless stated otherwise). Backup availability depends on the backup system operating normally; a particular restore point is not guaranteed.
- On request we restore files, databases, or the full account from an available restore point. Restoring overwrites newer data, so we may ask you to confirm the restore point in writing before we proceed.
- You remain responsible for keeping your own independent copy of business-critical data.
5.7 Security Reviews and Malware Removal
- Human reviews and automated tools substantially reduce risk but cannot make any website immune to compromise. We do not guarantee that your site will never be infected, defaced, or breached.
- Free malware removal covers confirmed malicious code, files, database injections, and backdoors in your hosted account, plus closing the entry point we identify where it lies within the hosting environment.
- It does not cover rebuilding lost content that is not in a backup, rewriting custom code, recovering data held by third-party services, or guaranteed removal from third-party blocklists. We will submit reasonable review and delisting requests on your behalf.
- Where re-infection is caused by factors under your control — for example nulled or pirated themes and plugins, compromised administrator credentials, or refusing a security update we recommended — we will explain the required fix. Repeat clean-ups caused by the same unresolved factor may be charged or declined.
- To protect you, other customers, and the network, we may temporarily restrict or suspend an infected site until it is cleaned, and we will tell you when we do so.
5.8 Priority Support and WhatsApp Instructions
- Priority means Managed WordPress requests are handled ahead of standard hosting queues. Stated response times are targets, not guarantees, unless a separate written SLA says otherwise.
- Phone and WhatsApp customer care is available 24/7 at +1 585-861-1111. For managed WordPress email and support tickets, staffed response hours are 09:00 to 21:00 Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4), seven days a week. Our target is a first reply from a person within one hour during those hours. Messages received outside staffed response hours are handled in the next window, with site-down reports prioritized. Automated security protection continues at all times.
- We act on instructions received through the client portal, from the email address on your account, or from a WhatsApp number that you have registered as an authorised contact. You are responsible for keeping your authorised contacts current and for instructions sent from them.
- For destructive or security-sensitive actions — for example restores that overwrite data, deletions, changes of account ownership or contact details, or sharing credentials — we may require confirmation through the client portal or the account email before acting. Never send passwords or payment card details over WhatsApp or email.
5.9 Access to Your Data
- Our staff access your files and databases only to deliver the managed service, provide support you request, or meet legal obligations. When we process personal data contained in your website on your behalf, we act as your processor under applicable data-protection law (including the EU and UK GDPR) and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. A data processing agreement is available on request from legal@namepo.com.
- You remain the controller of your website's data and are responsible for your own privacy notices, cookie consent, and lawful basis for processing your visitors' data.
5.10 Limitation of Liability for Managed Services
- To the extent permitted by law, NamePo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, sales, business, goodwill, or data arising from the managed service, optimisation work, security work, or restorations.
- To the extent permitted by law, NamePo's total liability arising from the Managed WordPress service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid for that Managed WordPress plan in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
5.11 Your Statutory Rights
- If you are a consumer, you have legal rights under the law of your country of residence — for example in the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada, the United States, or the Gulf Cooperation Council states — that these terms do not override. Nothing in this section affects rights that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement, including cancellation and refund rights.
- If any part of this section is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
5.12 Marketing Statements and Changes to This Section
- Comparisons with "other" or "typical" hosting providers in our marketing describe common market practice in general terms. They are not a statement about any particular named competitor.
- We may update this section. For material changes that reduce your service, we will give existing Managed WordPress customers at least 30 days' notice by email; the change applies from your next renewal unless you agree otherwise.
